The Cluster Association of Information and Communication Technologies of Cantabria (TERA) and the Telefónica Foundation formally signed today a collaboration agreement for the free delivery of courses that are part of the Conecta Empleo platform aimed at the training offer in the technology sector , which has been developing since the month of May.
The program aimed at unemployed people or those who want to improve their employability will be carried out in online and self-study mode and has up to a dozen training blocks, including:

Basic principles of big data, Internet of things, video game design, programming, networking and office.

To date, the total number of registered people reaches 735 people, of which 505 have already started the course in one of the different training modules.
One of the basic objectives of the agreement is to contribute to the increase in the labor insertion rate of digital profiles. In this sense, the Tera Cluster presented days ago a study on Digital Competencies in the region that reflects the reality of the current training plans implemented by universities, vocational training and other non-regulated centers.
The Tera Cluster highlights that the most in-demand professional profiles are those of programmers with knowledge of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity technologies, analysts and project managers.
